U.S. Largest Utilities Company Renews Contract with ProcurePort for a Third Consecutive Year

One of the world’s largest energy delivery system operators will be renewing their contract with ProcurePort, making it their third year of partnership. They will be contracting ProcurePort for their online e-sourcing software.

Serving over 3 million customers, with specialization in electrical, gas and steam systems; the Company will be utilizing the ProcurePort sourcing software to aid in their 2019 goals related to sourcing automation and cost optimization.

The ProcurePort e-Sourcing platform will help in conducting Electric Energy and Natural Gas reverse auctions. The ProcurePort Reverse Auction software was customized to enable Energy and Capacity Procurement. ProcurePort has enabled them to conduct real-time energy reverse auctions including the ability to match suppliers with real time credit and capacity availability as well as the ability of supplier to meet client volume demands.
